Discover the via ferrata and the mega zip lines of Mont Catherine in Sainte Agathe de Monts in the heart of the Laurentians between Montreal and Mont-Tremblant!
Tyroparc invites you to discover two incredible activities combining hiking, via ferrata and tyrolean traverse to experience incredible sensations in the Laurentians.
Everyone knows the hiking and the zip line, the Via Ferrata is a hike on a rock face equipped with metal holds and a steel cable to facilitate the progression and improve the safety of users.
Whether you go for the Discovery or the Discovery Plus, you will start with a 450 metre walk to the foot of the cliff, from there you will attach yourself to the continuous lifeline and embark on a 60 metre high via ferrata, the equivalent of a 20 storey building. Along the way, you'll move on rungs and handholds, cross wooden beams and different types of bridges to give you an incredible feeling as you climb. At the top, you will be able to contemplate the incredible landscape of the Laurentians and the Ste Agathe-des-Monts region.
The rest of your activity depends on the option you choose. The discovery option will allow you to link 2 mega zip lines, the longest of which is 900 meters high at 115 meters. The discovery plus option will allow you to link the 4 mega zip lines to fly almost 2.5 kilometres above the Laurentians before reaching Cap Beauséjour and the Tyroparc base.
